Dr. Alicia Bocek
DVM
Dr. Alicia Bocek was born in Binghamton, NY. She attended Binghamton University and graduated with a BS in Biology in 2002. Dr. Bocek then attended St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies, where she received her DVM in 2007. While in Grenada, she not only received an education but also a life experience. This experience has led her to become the owner of Day Hollow Animal Hospital. Dr. Bocek has a passion for Small Animal Medicine, Surgery, and Urgent Care. Dr. Bocek enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and 4 dogs. She is excited to bring her experience and passion to Day Hollow Animal Hospital and looks forward to keeping your pets healthy and families happy for many years to come.
Dr. Mallorie Hartmann
DVM
Dr. Mallorie Hartmann grew up locally in the town of Binghamton. She moved to Charlotte, NC, in 2009 and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at UNC Charlotte in 2013. She later moved to Raleigh for veterinary school, where she earned her DVM from NC State in 2019. After 10 years in North Carolina, she returned to New York to start her career in small animal medicine. She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and urgent care/emergency medicine. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her dogs, Moseley and Penny, her cat Stewie, and her fiancé. She loves attending various workout classes, particularly Pilates, hiking, and traveling. She is dedicated to treating all patients like her own and hopes to create lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
Dr. Emily Brass
DVM
Dr. Emily Brass grew up on Long Island, NY. She earned her BA in Biology from SUNY Geneseo and attended Ross University in St. Kitts where she earned her DVM in 2023. Dr. Brass loves working with animals of all shapes and sizes and has a passion for exotic animal medicine as well as small animal medicine and surgery. Outside of Day Hollow, she enjoys spending time at home with her husband and their menagerie of horses, chickens, dogs, and cats. She is an avid gardener, baker, and loves trail riding. Dr. Brass is so excited to be at Day Hollow and is looking forward to helping pets and their families stay happy and healthy!
